YOUTH PROGRAMS(already present)

Legends of Youth

A program that helps provide essential life tools for the youth in Elizabeth, that are trying to grow and reach a goal in either personal academics or athletics. They want to work on the youth's workmanship, character, leadership, desired growth, and to strengthen their spirits; in order to create a new 'breed' of student athletes. Through healthy environments, mentorships, and coaching, Legends of Youth achieves excellence in the classroom and on the 'field.'

They believe that Elizabeth Youths have the potential and power to become the next generation of leaders in the community; to advocate, improve, and understand natural environments and society. LOGOS

FAMOUS LOGOS

Slideshow:

The famous logos above are normally simple and fit into a certain shape, at least the ones that are the most memorable. Also these logos have a simple color scheme, normally not going over 3-4 colors. The easiest logos to remember consist of 1-2 colors. However with CBO logos, sometimes they are generally more colorful to show inclusiveness.

CBO LOGOS

50 best-nonprofit logos

screen recording:

The popular non profit and cbo logos normally do not always consist of the generic ideas about charity and community that one gets from the below. Though the generic below ones get the idea across, the popular ones above have more uniquesness towards their goals and image. Also they too have a limited color pallette similar to the famous logos. One thing to note about most of these logos though, is that the words are normally not directly involved into the logo. Though it is not all of them, it is a large amount of them because normally these organizations normally keep their names unless very well known and old.

Not specific, but common basic templates:

CRIME/PREVENTION LOGOS

The crime prevention logos/symbols normally represent either the community watching out for such incidents or expressing the suspicious character in which someone should look out for. These examples most likely won't work well with the crime idea and youths, maybe the neighborhood watch one shows more of a sense of community out of all of them.

ELIZABETH COMMUNITY LOGOS

Just some examples of Elizabeth city community logos they use, I think maybe taking some colors from the Elizabeth NJ 'it all starts here' logo may be a good way to represent the city.

INSPIRATION/IDEAS

ELIZABETH CITY

Gonna look at areas that directly represent certain aspects of the city or make it look recognizable.

TROUBLED TEENS

LEADING A PATH, THERAPY, etc.

GENERIC CRIME REPRESENTATIONS

Use these ideas and images to think about what might show the symbol and goal of the program, and what might work best. Needs to speak to the youth and the community/families.
